Mr. Stacey Gadson, Principal
Welcome you to Rice Creek Elementary - Where our motto is "LEARN TODAY, LEAD TODAY." In partnership with our community, Rice Creek is a school where all students are cared for, respected, and provided a rigorous academic education in a professional learning environment that cultivates leaders for today and tomorrow. Rice Creek looks forward to helping your child achieve academic success as we challenge them on a daily basis. We also encourage our parents to actively participate in their child’s educational success.
I am married to my beautiful wife, Henrietta. We have two sons, Tyler and Dalton who are products of Richland Two Schools. I earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Morris College in Sumter, S.C., and a Master of Education degree in administration from Cambridge College in Boston, Mass. I am a huge football (Go Clemson Tigers and Pittsburgh Steelers) and NASCAR (Go Dale Jr. #88) fan.
Thank you for stopping by the Rice Creek's website.
Mrs. Denise Webster, Assistant Principal
I’m Denise Webster and I’m very excited to be one of the assistant principals at Rice Creek Elementary School. This is my 25th year in Education having previously worked for seven years in the Special Education Department at the District Office. Prior to that, I taught for sixteen years as a special education teacher at Forest Lake Elementary and Rice Creek Elementary in Richland Two, F.J. DeLaine and Oakland Elementary Schools in Sumter School District Two. I graduated from the State University of New York at Geneseo with my Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education, and the University of South Carolina with two Masters of Education degrees in Special Education and Educational Administration. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Special Education Administration at USC – Go Gamecocks!
I am married to my wonderfully supportive husband, Joseph. Together we have three daughters, Olivia and Shelby, who are products of Richland Two Schools, and Holly, who lives in Pensacola. Holly and our son-in-law Hayden have blessed us with two precious granddaughters, Heidi and Hayzel. Our large extended family of transplanted northerners and our rescue dogs Tommy and Dickey round out the Webster family.
